I have a good friend who is interested in getting into Tool. I am personally a massive Tool fan and am very familiar with the material. But, tbh, Idk what is a good "starter" album. I started my Tool journey by listening to FI (was the first one that popped up) and was VERY overwhelmed the first listen. So, I figure that isn't the album to start with lol. But I eventually found some good ground and now I'm a years long fan.
I know that The Pot and Schism are good songs to help make the peices fit, but what is a good full album to start off with? I feel like Tool is a band you kinda gotta ease into.
