Why are people pretending to be afraid of this ‘Merchant of Death’?

Is he a bad guy? Sure. Will he commits crimes again? Undoubtedly. But he’s been in custody for years and it’s not like terrorist or rogue states have had any problem getting weapons until now. Hell, half of them are probably getting their weapons from the CIA now anyways. Unless there is something I’m missing, I’m not losing sleep over this.

Wasn’t the marine dishonorably discharged and charged with espionage tbf? And the teacher had enough weed on him to be charged with intent to distribute, had he been in the US.. makes sense to me to save the American you can instead of leaving all three Americans to rot.
