I ask this because I had one argument on social media with a friend of a friend (two years ago). I just debunked some crazy conspiracy theory. That didn't go well with them. They DMed me with threats of "knocking my teeth in" and saying they were outside my house ready to fight.
I laughed it off, but it turns out that YES they were parked outside my house in the middle of the night with two other people. I didn't engage. No, I didn't call the police since this was the height of the pandemic. But what I did do is save every encounter, and handed it all over to my lawyer if something further would happen.
Enough with my story, I'm curious how common these stories have become.
