How can someone tell how they feel towards someone? (romantically)

Post Body

How can someone tell the difference between having a crush and being in love? Or wether someone is attracted to another person to begin with?

Is it an unconcious thing they find out later, or do people realise it when that "strange feeling" starts?

I feel like it may be a somewhat universal experience/feeling to have a crush or fall in love, even if everyone is different - but I'm so curious about it and always felt to weird for wanting to ask others.

So, how is it possible? Is it even possible to tell the difference yourself?
