Weird sleeping position thing. Do you get it?

So ever since I (29f) was was young(13) I noticed once in a while I would have to change the direction my head was pointing to sleep. Absolutely no idea why. This resulted in a rearranged room every few months. The time frames of when I would need to flip have grown longer and longer. Just curious if this happens to anyone else or if anyone knows a reason. Thanks.
