So i’m talking to this girl and I always can’t find anything to talk about or sometimes i don’t know how to respond to things

this is probably because i’m not really the talkative type and she’s like the second person i talk to regularly during this whole covid thing. I don’t know how to conversate but when I talk i feel like things start to gravitate towards me and my experiences and i can’t help feeling like an asshole that just wants to talk about himself

i wanna reciprocate and talk about her and get to know her more so how do i do that? what are some topics to start and how do i respond so i seem interested and not like i don’t care about what she’s saying, because sometimes i come across as that even though i really am interested.
