We're back. Kind of. Clearing out the cobwebs. Much stuff broken. Much stuff coming. More details to come. So much spam.

How do people keep their houses clean?

Post Body

I’ve never been the cleanest person. Would clean the common areas but my room was messy. That was the rules of my house and I was fine with it- I knew where everything in my room was, it just was always messy.

I’m now living on my own, and struggling to keep things picture perfect clean. My apartment isn’t disgusting- I take the trash out and clean the cat box and things. It’s just... disorganized I guess? Like when I go to my friends places, things just seem to have a spot. I never learned how to know where things go, so everything just seems not clean to me all the time, and then I try to find places for everything but It doesn’t stick and my place ends up looking sloppy. I hate it, I want my house to look nice! I’m just not sure how to do that.

Sorry, I know this question is dumb, but I feel like this is one of those things that by the time you’re an adult you’re supposed to just know and I just don’t.
