How many people never have goals?

Sometimes I feel really disconnected when people talk about what they have always wanted to do, or what their dream jobs or lives are. I have tried hard, but I have never really had life goals. I've never had a dream job or a picture of an ideal family (wife and kids). It may be because I have aphantasia and cannot mentally picture these goals. In many ways I feel it has held me back in life. Without goals driving me I feel like a ship without sails.
