Is it weird that I can't have friends of the opposite sex without inevitably developing romantic interest?

As a straight 22m, I can't have a single woman as my friend without developing romantic interest/feelings. It inevitably happens every time.
I don't objectify them or demand anything happen, but I always find myself wanting it to happen.
Is this normal? Or am I a mysonginist asshole?
