Specifically, might many gay people harbour any kind of grudge toward a straight person constantly hanging around?
I have plenty of gay friends, but I would feel stupid asking this. Sometimes I worry that I might not be wanted around.
I just have so much more fun around gay culture. I also feel WAY more comfortable hanging out in a gay bar if I'm passing through some small town in the southern US.
In a way, it would be easier for me if I was indeed gay. Alas, I am not.
EDIT: I'm mostly interested in hearing from people that are gay about whether or not it is a hinderence for a straight person to take up space at your favorite gay bar. I'm not going to directly ask for your sexuality, but if you are comfortable with sharing please do specify when you comment, just so I can get context.
