Post Body

Do Indians (from India) consider themselves Asian in a more broad sense?

I know country of origin is more important, but someone from France or Italy might say they were French or Italian first, but more broadly European.

I know India is technically in Asia, but I don’t assign the broad category of Asian to Indians in my mind, the way I do with people from China, Korea, or Japan.

Yes, I know the difference between Chinese, Korean, and Japanese people. This is a question about how they see themselves.
