What is the appeal of Disneyland/DisneyWorld that has adults coming back for multiple vacations?

I love me a Disney movie, but I can't for the life of me figure out why people love the Disney resorts and want to honeymoon there, spend multiple vacations there, dream of going to a place that's infamously overpriced, crowded, loud, etc. I know different people like different things but why Disney in particular? Thanks for any insight.
