How can men be taught to be independent of women like how women are independent of men?

Sounds silly I know considering throughout history it was women society forced to be dependent on men.
But I'm noticing how single women are the happiest women compared to single men. Married men are happier than single men.
Plus so many women are not interested in dating men and are living their best life without men. Many of them don't even think about men.
How can men reach that level of independence and freedom?
