I wonder if people in France view Paris the way we might view NYC, or if people in England might view London that way, for example. What I mean by that is, do they also view those major cities as these bustling metropolises that are rife with opportunity and attractive to tourists, but to people who actually live there, it may not be a glamorous as it seems? A lot of people don't make it in New York, and a lot of people are struggling, but if you have money, it's a much more pleasurable experience. I wonder if other countries view their major cities like that.
Do people in Italy view Milan that way? Do people in Switzerland view Geneva that way? The list goes on, but you get the point.
That’s not what google says…2.1 million live in Paris. 66 million live in the rest of France.
