I’ll start off by saying that I’m absolutely satisfied with my partner’s equipment, we have great sex and I’m pretty smitten with him.
I also am not big believer in having a bigger dick = better sex. All genitalia is good genitalia.
My partner is great at dirty talk so I’ve been trying to ramp mine up a bit. He is definitely an average size, not below or above but simply average. However, I find myself in talking dirty to him I’ll refer to his “big dick.”
We haven’t necessarily talked about it but I think we both know he’s of an average size (and again, no complaints) but I feel like maybe adding to the illusion during sex makes it well… sexier. Sex is at least 50% mental and we definitely play around with power dynamics so we aren’t strictly dirty talking in the realm of truth here. But I always wonder if maybe he sees this as bullshitting a little?
Toxic masculinity has brought us here, and unfortunately I know that a lot of men feel they need to have a large penis to feel powerful in bed, so am I adding to the culture here?
I just wanna build my partner up and make him feel good during sex, not get in his head.
Edit: I guess I need to define toxic masculinity to me, as some folks seem highly focused on that comment. I’m speaking of unrealistic standards we place on men in our society, and comes from all sides. If you have a phrasing for it, feel free to say, there are many nuances to it.
Edit 2: He’s literally textbook average. Like if you looked it up in a medical textbook, and saw a picture of an average penis, his is exactly like that. I’m quite short and small so pretty much everything average and above feels big to me.
Edit 3: I tried your suggestions to focus on more objective compliments and we had a lot of fun (but we always do). Thanks all!
