What are libertarians so scared of government for?
Post Body

All of these years of political debate I've had with the right, and I've never been able to understand this one thing. What makes the government so scary to them, that they'd rather people die without access to healthcare than trust the government to provide free healthcare regardless of income? What keeps them up at night about having to pay taxes so the government can fight poverty? Just what do they think would happen if we found a better system than free-market capitalism, and the state proved it can take care of people better than corporations can?
