Post Body

After lurking the sub prior to my surgery I was expecting 10/10 pain, hoping for the best expecting the worst kind of situations.

I have had pain, I'd say 4/10 with last night being the worst. Mainly taking Tylenol every 4 hours. However I did take a Norco last night since the pain kept me up.

The pain hasn't been too bad, its more of an annoyance I guess since it's just there. All the time. Maybe it's the round the clock Tylenol has helped with that? Mornings are definitely more painful but after some Tylenol and water is subsides.

I've been consistent with drinking water so I'm thinking that has helped tremendously.

My diet has mainly been water and applesauce. Maybe 2-3 Popsicles a day to cool down my throat. I did get some mashed potatoes down yesterday. Was manageable but I think I'll wait another day or 2 to try again.

With all that being said, should I still expect more pain as the days progress, or should I consider myself lucky?
