My friend attended Tomorrowland last year, and will possibly receive a link to purchase tickets this year during Global Journey presale for 2025. However, they might not be attending and will allow me to use the global journey package purchased. Will this cause issues checking into the campsite, if the name of the person purchasing tickets isn’t present?
You're correct. I thought that was for the GJ pre sale, which has been mid-December the past two years. Hopefully they don't make changes to that, like they have for the nft sale starting in 2026.
I didn't, my buddy bought the friendship garden for last year weekend 2. I think he grabbed that just so we all had tickets....it wasn't part of the plan.
Not sure how they are with identification boarding the train since I've never gotten that package. For the elevated camping, if you mean montagoe, my id was never asked for. I just gave my name since I was the main buyer for the two packages I got with that. Last year when doing friendship garden I wasn't the main buyer and they just asked me for the main buyers name and they allowed myself and a friend to check-in to our area, as we were the first to arrive. For mag greens, there's no need to provide a main buyer name, you just go through security at the entrance then get in line for whatever color section is being filled at that time. I know the year I had a flight package and my friend couldn't come I was unable to switch the flight that was under their name.....so not sure if the trains in Europe work that way or not 🤷.
What the others said is incorrect. I just received my GJ pre-sale email today, and the registration for that pre sale will be Dec 5th at 1500 cet. I've been to Tomorrowland for the past 3 years, and I have done both weekends the past two. You can use the bracelets that your friend buys, the only issue you would have with GJ is if there were a flight included. For that, the names must match. At the festival there's no issue using a bracelet purchased by someone else, as long as you don't lose the bracelet. This would be your only issue since you would have to show ID in order to get a replacement bracelet, and that ID would have to match the main buyers information. The first year I went I had to sell my buddies ticket for our GJ package since he couldn't go, so I sold his bracelet once I arrived in Belgium. So long story short is, yes anyone can use a bracelet purchased by someone else to enter the festival and attend.....just don't lose it!

If you have a Tomorrowland account and the GJ ticket from last year had your name on the ticket you had, then you should get a link. I was not the main buyer last year, my friend bought a friendship garden package and I was one of the ten people listed, so I just received the GJ pre sale email for 2025. The only way you wouldn't get it, is if you purchased the ticket from someone else and it wasn't linked to your Tomorrowland account.
