Bringing back Mezzro?

Been thinking about trying Mezzro a lot more into the ToA campaign. Basically my party got really attached to Artus and want to help him find his wife.
I've got a really neat plot thought up where once they bring Mezzro back, they find it completely desolated and end up linking it's destruction to the soul monger/Acerak.
Got a lot planned for that but I'm having trouble thinking of what the party would have to do to bring it back.
What would be some cool ideas/locations to tie into bringing Mezzro back?
