First time running a Hex crawl. Need some advice

Post Body

So this is my first time running a module, and I’m nervous about the hex crawl. All of the actual content in the port, and all of the different locations I feel confident about, it’s just the actual exploration. How do I keep it interesting? With so much empty space to explore, I feel the constant survival checks could get boring, especially if I don’t roll a random encounter. It just turns into, “an uneventful day of travel. You set up camp. Who wants to take watch.” There are only so many ways to describe traveling through a jungle. Haha

What did you all do? Any advice?
