I was playing on low (not lowest) at 20fps for the longest time, just switched to lowest and I am now getting fairly stable 30fps and it STILL looks amazing! I have AMD sharpening and volumetric lighting on which probably helps, but otherwise... how do Crystal Dynamics do it? I realise most will be posting images from console or higher power rigs on this sub, so I just wanted to share my love for this game on a low-end laptop! I just finished the Outer Worlds and the optimisation for PC on that game was poor compared to Shadow.
Rise and 2013 Tomb Raider run flawlessly at higher resolutions, sure, but given that Shadow came out only two years ago and is playable AND pretty I'm so impressed with the PC port.
