Question about other tomb raider games from a guy who has only played hte tomb raider trilogy.

Unlike most people here im pretty late to tomb raider party. Ive owned ps1 ps2 and ps3 and despite being a huge sony fany never really played tomb raider until tomb raider 2013. I missed out on the tomb raider games released on ps1 and ps2. However I know that the survivor trilogy is lara crofts origin story. My quesiton deals with jonah. Does he appear in any of the ps1 and ps2 tomb raider games and if not why doesnt he appear? what do you think happens to him?
