Pathways projects as VP Education

I'm VP Education and starting on level 4 of one of my pathways. When a project says "consult with the VP Education" to say, write a blog, or coach another member, do you think I should consult with the Club President, or someone else, to meet the spirit of the rule?
I have started the coaching project and I raised it at a committee meeting but I thought I should check what others are doing.
