Paradox has to be the most confusing resource in the game right?
Right now I'm trying to work out what the point of willpower reducing your paradox is. I think I've got it, but I'm hoping someone can confirm/deny my theory.
So there is base and modified paradox, right? The modified value given by the willpower modifier. As your modified paradox goes above 300 you get an increased chance of spell failure/anomalies. But the increase or decrease to chronomancy spellpower is a function of your base chronomancy. So having a higher willpower gives you a bigger margin during which your paradox can go above 300 without causing the spell failure chance to increase.
Is that correct or have I missed something? Otherwise I don't see the point of a chronomancer increasing willpower at all since you can set your own base paradox level to adjust to.
Sorry if that's a bit messy. Time travel gets confusing.
