Optimunm ending cable cards 10/1

Received this letter in mail today! Optimum is going to end supporting cable cards 10/1. I assume this is the end of tivo on optimum. Anyone have any feedback or workaround? Just bought a new tivo with lifetime/all in 2 months ago!
Does fios support cable cards for tivo?
