Watching and Recording Simultaneously?

I'm new to IPTV and also TiviMate, which is a fantastic program. As I understand it, I need two accounts to be able to watch and record at the same time (or record two channels). How does that work? Assuming I have accts from the same IPTV service, would I have two, duplicate playlists and I would watch one playlist while recording the other? Or would I still have only the one playlist, but I would be able to watch and record at the same time on that playlist?
