audio video sync issue

I am using TiviMate on an android box. I notice that there is sync problem on many programs. Can this be rectified through Tivimate? I have not committed to Premium membership so far but I tried to play with the available Audio Offset feature but this did not seem to make any difference.
Any suggestions?
