Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to the first System Update for the subreddit. The subreddit is now entering Beta 1.1 I guess. We have some exciting changes planned for the subreddit that will all be listed in here for people to read across and proceed to explode from either satisfaction or abject horror. Anyone who doesn’t explode should report to their nearest exploder machine funded by Mr. Torgue.

Story Arcs

Okay, so currently e have on overarching plotline being forwarded by the mods with interaction from players. This involves the enemy mercenary company and it’s assault on Prometheus base. Explored so far with Blight and Snow, as well as Silver and Thirteen with the recent drop ship recovery.

But I would also like to announce a new story which is driven by the players, which in a way has already kicked in with the planets backstory, the creatures and what’s left of civilisation. Such as Akkad and The Goliath (Some members may remember the phrase ‘DAMNIT GOLIATH!’). The premise of which was set up actually be Zess wasteland adventure, introducing some famous creatures.

This plotline is being headed up by the mods again and anyone who started working on things. For example the city of Akkad is being explored by SIlver. BUT! BIG BUTTS! We are allowing users to submit ‘mods’ (Ideas, factions, etc etc) to the subreddit. Kinda like modding Skyrim. You have the main plot and then people can have giant schlongs and awesome dragons added onto it.

Garrett (Blight) and I have been working on a new backstory for the planet to start us off, which will be posted as soon as we complete it fully. And then people can expand from it by submitting ideas on modmail. This way we can turn down things that don’t fit, or negotiate to avoid contradictions and make it fit better. The subreddit is driven by the players, and this is another layer to go about that.

Note; Any alterations to overall canon need to be talked to the mods about.

Ranks

Ranking is gonna get a major shift in the coming few days, with people being moved about as well as the addition of new ranks. This is partially because after Thirteen lovingly crafted a chart of where everyone is ranked, we realised we cocked up big time. So therefore we’ll be making some major adjustments. Keep yours eyes peeled guys!

Burn Cards

Yes! We do indeed have these! The primary form is Kronos deeming people award worthy of weapon mods, Titan parts etc etc. This system may change a little in future, but for the present it’s a rewarding people for mission successes and performance. Nora was awarded one by Silver for her work in directing her squad to take tag Silver with paint.
