The torn Stryder.
Post Body

A Stryder walks into the hangar, scarred and bruised from the wasteland. Well, not quite literally. Since metal can't really gets scars or bruises, but what does it matter. It's in bad shape, happy now? Some people, jeeez. Regardless, the Stryder walked into the hangar and docked up in Silvers spot, dropping it's extra baggage onto the floor.

The baggage in question was a pile of corpses still in armour, some parts from what appeared to have once been dropship and the large body of one of the many armoured creates that hide in the ruins of towns and cities.

A spectre hopped off the back of the Titan and immediately jumped into a shooting stance, surveying the area. The recent events in the wastes had jumped it's circuits a little and left it rather paranoid. Or what a robot could equate to being paranoid, since robots can't get paranoid unless this is some Bicentennial man type shit. With a robot becoming human.

ā€œHeā€™s down here.ā€ A voice rang out from inside Akkad. Silver stood up straight away and slid over the counter and into cover. Silver was inside a store, one with varying goods ranging from computers to food to pornographic material. Most of it hadnā€™t survived but it was still a good place to see what the people here had in their lives. The front of the store was long broken, the wall having collapsed and buckled in on itself and leaving only small gaps for which they could crawl through. A dozen feet marched past some of these holes and Silver realised that they had pinned the commander in the store. The Titan couldnā€™t get down here without taking damage and the spectre was still guarding the lobby. For all intents and purposes Silver was on their on against at least six people. But a high ranking person such as himself probably wouldnā€™t just have six people hunting them. This should be interesting.

Silver brought up a minor display in their helmet and looked through the Stryders cameras at the wastes. The stryder was also surrounded by a half dozen men with many more climbing down into the ravine and towards the lobby. One agent of prometheus, one spectre and a stryder. If they could all get the element of surprise itā€™d go much much quicker. Silver quickly panned the camera around on the Stryder and zoomed in on what appeared to be a flock of the bird like creatures that attacked Zee. That could be fruitful if their attention could be stolen.

ā€œCheck inside this store. We need to put him down ASAP.ā€ A deep voice ordered the group. A singular man crouched down and looked through a gap in the wall. His unmasked face soon played welcome mat to a burst of gunfire from Silver and leaving him as dead as a dodo. A burst of shouts and scrambles suddenly rose up from the other side. Silver moved back further into the store to gain a height advantage amongst the broken rubble and fished back into the Titans display and kicked a gentlemen into the ravine. They too cried out in alarm and promptly started to shoot at the Titan in a vain effort as their forces were thrown about like ragdolls and destroyed by a hail of gunfire.

Silver hopped out of the cockpit not long after, wrapped up in a cloth to cover the tears in their suit. The screen partially covered over by a makeshift eyepatch to disguise the face underneath. The screen flickered with an angry face.

They cast a glance over to the Spectre and gave it a silent order to stand down. Preferring that nobody that gets hurt. by a trigger happy spectre. A solitary glance around the hanger and SIlver made their way towards their office and quarters, needing to repair the suit and helmet. Preferably without losing anonymity.

The following five minutes was a cacophony of bullets and shouting with Silver moving around the store like a ungraceful ballet dancer. The bullets tore into the suit and grazed Silvers arms. One of which must have cracked open the visor because someone will end u, and has ended up in the hanger with it covered over. Which of course you would have read in the post unless you're skipping it. If only Silver knew they had a narrator who likes to ramble, something tells me they'd be pissed off with said narrator. Regardless of the rambling the fight continued onwards and was only silenced when the Spectre ran around the corner and managed to pin the few remaining soldiers between Silver and itself. Thank heavens to betsy.

Silver removed the helmet carefully and looked into the mirror, checking their face for any signs of damage. There were no cuts or bullet holes thankfully. Meaning they could go about their day with no worrying about dropping dead.

Fantastic.

Of course all they needed to do now was find out why the base smelt of Sulfur. At this point I think you can tell I'm having troubles ending this so toodle-oo, see you in the comments.
