Since some of y'all are so knowledgeable I wondered if maybe you could chime in again today with advice on diet.
I've been reading posts and don't really see a post with what I'm looking for. I bought some protein bars yesterday bc I know protein is really important and I'm trying to keep my carbs low as well. After eating it I guess I missed the part of the protein bar having 17g of fat and 240 calories. They are Keto so yeah that works for keto, but does it work well for this type of weightloss plan?
I have a chronometer to log my food and do my macros but I want someone to explain to me like an idiot or like I'm 5 the best diet on Tirzepatide and what a healthy diet looks like.
I know lots of protein is important, so get a bang for your buck with eating the best option when you do eat, but what exactly does that mean? just meat/ protein only as often as you can? Some protein like nuts are very fatty, which is good fat I guess? but does good fat help you lose weight?
I've never paid attention to a diet in my life, so I really want to build good habits and understand this better than my current understanding.
Is high fat but low carb, high protein, high calorie ideal to eat?
high fat even if it's good fats is still high fats tho right? That would be better spread out over all day than in one granola bar right or does that matter?
I did a macros for my exercise level, age, and current weight and it has me at 1600-1200 for mild to extreme weightloss with 266 carbs and 56g of fat a day. That seems like a lot of carbs.
Ive Googled but it's not clicking, I still have so many questions.
