Found a tiny house. Advice for inspecting and setting up?
Post Body

Hello!

After looking for a year I found something that might be worth purchasing in my price range. Went and looked at it a few days ago. It’s an 8x20 tiny house on trailer with lofts. 15k. It’s not grade A construction but it seems sturdy and built well. Trailer is in good condition.

All set on land and insurance. Waiting for a call back on titling/registering it.

The house was built two years ago and never used. Someone just bought it and has had it in storage. Is there any way I could test the electric or plumbing? It plugs into a 50amp plug, takes in water from a hose, and has a regular toilet.

Also, do I have to level a spot? Or if I find something level enough can I shim it? I think I’ll have to level something just to get it closer to water/power/septic.

Anything I’m not thinking of or any advice?
