Tinder sending me push notifications that I'm getting matches and messages but nothing is showing?

Is this a new or long standing glitch? I've gotten three notifications that I've gotten a new match, and when I open the app there's nothing new.
I have one person that's listed under messages with a giant 'likes you' highlighted but their picture is blurred and when I click on it it wants me to pay for premium.
And among a couple notifications for new 'matches' I got a notification of a message from a user that also doesn't show up anywhere.
