My first FWB match and I overcomplicated it. Lesson learned.

For context, this is how I approach FWBs before having sex with a new partner:
-discuss past and ongoing partners -discuss sexual health and safe sex practices -discuss boundaries -take STD tests PRIOR to having sex
In hindsight, I realize very few people do this, and learned that this comes off more as a business transaction and should make it more fun.
But what do you think? Do you follow these guidelines when getting a new FWB?
