I tried to create an account a little while a go to find my phone number had been banned from Tinder. I found this odd as though I’d had Tinder before I was verified and barely used it so deleted my account. All I could think of was someone else had used my phone number to set up an account and did something dodgy on it. I emailed Tinder Support to appeal this ban and explained the situation. I included proof that I clearly had no prior account through Tinder requesting Facebook access and that email was not associated with any account. And the Support team clearly saw the word ban in my email and didn’t read the rest and had two generic responses saying I’d been banned and that was that basically. Has anyone else had this problem and did anyone ever get their appeal resolved? I had this issue with Hinge and send an appeal request and through proving my identity, they quickly resolved the issue. So unsure why Tinder’s team is useless at resolving these issue.
