There's quite a bit I have to do and I tried making to do lists to help out but everything's still a mess in my head and I can't do anything. I'm in high school and I've also got a bunch of daily activities.
I tried scheduling but that makes everything I do feel like a chore and it feels terrible on schooldays. That was about a year or more ago, so I may be willing to give it another shot.
Just tried making use of a calendar but I'm so overwhelmed right now I can't think straight when it comes to that.
I think I'm doing a lot and I may have bit off more than I can chew (even though I have loads of free time but I can't use it bc I'm always overwhelmed recently).
I'm going to put up my daily stuff I want to get done. These include small (almost ridiculously) items that I skip bc I'm way too overwhelmed.
Let's pretend we're just doing weekdays right now.
Daily Activity | Time Taken (approx) |
---|---|
Brush Teeth x1* | 4 mins |
Use facewash x1* | 3 mins |
Religious Activity x6 | 15-20 mins each (except the 6th, 5 mins) |
Food x2 (breakfast*) | 30 mins each |
*breakfast, first brush and facewash not included because that happens the hour before going to school and it's irrelevant to me.
Now for stuff that's actually time consuming.
- Learn Japanese (flashcards, editing, research, it's VERY extensive). I don't know how much time I should give it each day.
- Study. Just doing homework and jotting down everything done in school that day onto my home copy. I'd say it takes about 30 mins normally and max 1 hr.
- I want to start card game theory and actually playing too, but everything's a mess already and I can't think of it right now. (Might make it a weekend thing? But I want to get back competiviely, specifically, into Yu-Gi-Oh!)
- Among all this, I want to be able to relax and play games casually, watch youtube, talk to friends a bit( NOT wasting hours on social media, I never got into that stuff thank goodness) etc.
that's on weekdays.
Now for weekends:
Small stuff again-
Daily Activity | Time Taken (approx) |
---|---|
Brush Teeth x2 | 4 mins each |
Use facewash x2 | 3 mins each |
Religious Activity x6 | 15-20 mins each (except the 6th, 5 mins) |
Food x3 | 30 mins each |
Cut Nails* | 5 mins |
* I cut my nails on Fridays.
Since I'm home all day, the brushing, facewash and breakfast actually matter now, since I'm in control of the rest of the day.
- Work on a card game storyline compilation project that's massive.
- Make study notes of whatever we did in the week in school. Time varies.
- Revise for any upcoming tests.
That's more or less what I do over the week. I tend to procastinate a bit, but I feel like I only do that when I'm overwhelmed and have a lot of stress because of it (which is becoming increasingly often).
I also have to start working harder for school, stuff's about to get serious soon, I think.
Please help me out if you can, I can't enjoy what I used to enjoy anymore, nor can I get anything done.
