My underage son has a government passport being sent in the mail by Postnord. I purchased the postage with my son's name and my name (C/O) as a recipient for the package. When I went to pick up the package with the QR code given by Postnord, the clerk worker said because it has my son's name on it that only he can pick it up.

After explaining that my name is on there as well to receive it "in care of", she said she does not see it and I have to bring a document from Skatteverket showing proof that we live together in the location. I looked up the postage I purchase and it does show my name is in the "care of" section.

If I bring proof of the postage, should they release the package to me? Or in case she is strict, what is this Skatteverket document that I must have to show proof to Postnord?

Since it is new years. Everything is shut down for the next 3-4 days and I do not want an unnecessary journey into government red tape just to get a package.
