Banned from tiktok, not sure about the specifics

When I logged into tiktok today, I was greeted with the message "your account has been banned". I did not do virtually anything to get banned. I have been registered on tiktok since 2017, and have not committed a single offence. The only reason I am posting this, is because when I looked up the issue, majority of the screenshots said "your account has been permanently banned". However, the message I received only said "your account has been banned". Does this mean it is only temporary, or is it merely an update? (My appeal was sent a week ago)
