Hello fellow TikTokers and Redditors
I have a channel that JUST hit 100 followers. It's very slow going. It's music. I have a friend with 17K followers. I was helping him poster for his upcoming show and we did a funny video where I played a German who was scolding him for putting up posters.
The problem is, he didn't give me credit at all in the video description. I find it a bit strange because he knows how small my channel is and how nice it would be to get a shoutout from a larger channel.
I wrote him a message and just said "Hey you didn't give me credit for playing the German guy in your video :O". He hasn't responded yet (or read it yet). It actually did better than his last ten videos (it's pretty funny) but I'm wondering if I should ask him to repost it giving me credit? Is that fair to ask?
I feel really strange he didn't give me credit at all. I don't know if it's because he's embarassed that I'm a much smaller channel or what.. but it feels weird
Any thoughts would be warmly appreciated. I don't know if this is a TikTok thing to not give credit or what...
