I know this opinion will probably get me downvoted into oblivion or maybe permabanned, haha, but I've been rewatching the original podcast episodes on youtube, and noticed that I really enjoyed listening to Gilbert's inputs.
I felt like he brought a lot more to the show then, and was more of an active contributor as opposed to a guy throwing in bad one-liners in a Jimmy Fallon-esque style. I definitely understand where a lot of the Gilbert hate comes from, but I genuinely liked the guy in the initial episodes & let's not forget the infamous episode 77 blow up. Why did this change? Was it with the greater introduction of guests where he was sort of pushed aside due to his lack of celebrity status? Is there something else I am missing? Did something happen?
I'd appreciate your thoughts/opinions :)
