Trick for Monitors? (Inspection)
Post Body

I'm trying to get my car ready for inspection. In my area we have to get tested for emissions and regular inspection. My car passes everything EXCEPT emissions. (Small evap leak somewhere)

I've been dealing with this evap issue for a year now lol. I've tried finding it, 2 shops have "fixed it" and months later the check engine light comes back on 😭 the shop I take it to (also one of the ones that fixed it originally) gave me their ob2 device to check for the monitors being ready. He said once I reset the computer, to keep checking the monitors. He said 1 monitor can be down for it to pass.

I currently have 5/7 monitors ready. The catalyst and evap are the remaining 2. Is there a trick to get the catalyst up without the evap coming back on?? I've driven about 20 miles today and cycled the car off and on about 5 times.
