I know things won't change and this is just thoughts and opinions.
Recent updates have been giving them more useful~ differences than ED, but I feel they should separate the mages a lot more.
Few ideas I had. -Change the stat allocation to give MS more hp than a druid but still less than an RP -maybe make wands have a mini AOE at higher levels equivalent to like a burst arrow or maybe an explosion rune....or give MS a 2h staff that gives them this AOE -change beams(except death beam) in maybe like chain lightning the arcs between 5-7 mobs(randomly) -give great fire wave and energy wave the ability to proc their elemental status effect or add aoe version of ignite and electrify
Too me solo MS plays like solo ED just alittle different and party MS just seems like a required DPS tag along that honestly would be better to have a 2nd ED. The 4 voc xp share kind of dictates to bring the MS. I know each person's play skill can change the outcome of the hunt, but alot of times in a team hunt my ED isn't far off on damage from the MS.
I understand some of these ideas would need tweaking with possible balance breaking, however some feasible differences between the mages would be appreciated.
