As you know-- the Thunder decided to sit out Game 5 of the playoffs as a protest for Black Lives Matter, and asking for justice for Jacob Blake and countless others.

While we usually remain politically neutral as this is a sub for the discussion of the OKC Thunder-- we felt it was the right time to use this platform to advocate for change. The team we all love and support put it on the line to protest for change, and it's only right that we (as fans) do what we can to help.

Our mod-team has donated $150 total to both Campaign Zero and to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. It's not much, but any little bit helps.

We ask you to consider donating to one of these as a show of support to our team (or any charity of your choice related to BLM/ending police brutality). Our mod-team unanimously supports the Black Lives Matter movement and fighting for change in the United States. Our mods come from all across the globe including Europe, Australia, and the USA and we all agree it's time to try and precipitate change no matter how small it is.
