For people with cold feet, do you find that your feet/toes are getting colder and colder? Has anyone heard the "cure" for cold feet/frostnip (supposedly British Army) where you sit out in the cold in light clothing, but your hands and feet in buckets of hot water? So you "train" your body NOT to reduce circulation in the extremities when you go out in the cold? Supposedly its a kind of reflex action, that you can unlearn.
For me hiking in winter/waterproof boots is SO not comfortable, that I'm looking for any tips and tricks to keep the toes from going numb when I wear my Altras out below freezing.
