Another way to put it might be: "What personality traits do throwers of each style have?
I myself haven't been to any yo-yo cons and I haven't met anybody outside of the friend that got me into the hobby that throws. I was wondering though, do certain kinds of people gravitate to the same styles? Are there any stereotypes the community holds about different throwers?
The only example I've seen of this so far is u/edhaponic 's comment in this thread where he says "To me it [fixed axle] is the yo-yo equivalent of 'soul surfing.'" And I'm wondering if there are more.
