Arthritis, immune system, and GLA B27
Post Body

I was recently diagnosed with some type of arthritis (I forget what kind... I don't even think we know for sure yet) and whenever I get sick it takes me a REALLY long time to recover. I had strep throat, a sinus infection, and poison ivy in August and it took me around three weeks to fully recover. I also had a virus in December, and it took me around two weeks to recover from that. I also tested positive for a GLA HLA B27 gene marker, which makes me more susceptible to autoimmune issues. I don't know too much about all this stuff, but any idea what's to blame for my sucky immune system?

Edit: Was on mobile, so somehow a sentence got left out.

Edit 2: Whoops! It's actually HLA B27, sorry folks.
