Advanced hip arthritis at 39
Post Body

Got diagnosed with hip arthritis in 2022, left hip is very damaged - stopped running (my go to sport), pain is bearable especially that I had physio twice a week for I ever a year to help with mobility and strengthening. I had a couple of new scans and the new doctor found out that this is due to my sickle cell (it affected my bones then bones wore the joints off). I lost my job and I can’t afford my insurance so I can’t have my physio sessions anymore. I gotta do the exercises at home and maybe even go back to the gym because I’ve lost so much muscle weight. Any tips / encouragement would be very helpful. Thank you
