Why I sometimes take chances when thrifting!

I wish I had taken a before picture. I wasn't sure if this was copper or brass or possibly even silver because it was so tarnished.
When a silver polishing cloth didn't work, I tried a tiny bit of vinegar and salt and most of it polished right up!
I'm thinking it's a brass bangle with copper or bronze accents. Still needs a bit of polishing but I love it!
