Any tips for fighting nids?

I’m a grey knight and T’sons player and I played my first game against nids with my grey knights yesterday and get completely destroyed.
Pretty much got locked out of my psychic phase by multiple abilities
All my ranged heavy hitter died turn one and two leaving me with S4 bolters and rushing into melee with another army that great at melee
I know the 1 cast and the cabel dice will help a lot but is there something I 100% need against nids?
