If people want some TRUE Game Night fun, they got to get the basic stuff outta the way, I'm talking Monopoly and Connect 4, and try branching out into the fun and varied world of modern board gaming.
If they're beginners, start out with some Downforce, Captain Sonar, Ticket to Ride, Carassonne, etc.
If they're a little more seasoned, games like Underwater Cities, Terraforming Mars, Feast for Odin, Wingspan, The Castles of Burgundy, etc.
And if they got a whole ass day, are seasoned board game players, AND want to be at each other's throats, there's always Twilight Imperium, which might have the length of monopoly BUT is a shit ton more engaging AND satisfying.
