For context: my mother is a shaman, was trained by shamans for almost a decade, and I discovered myself with similar gifts than her (like seeing the aura of someone and where they are hurt/unwell), but I'm better with perception and "energy control" than her. I'm 21, and trained myself since I was 16. Oh, and also, I'll assume that you trust the theory of the souls, spirits, guides and entities.
So, my most recent experience made me figures out that I might have been "haunted"/"parasited" by a dead fox's soul (or spirit, hard to tell) for quite a while, like at least 6 months (but I think it's more 2-3 years when I got my first full shift)
Me and my mom removed the spirit yesterday, and since then I weirdly feel less connected to my animalistic self. For example, every morning I listen to music s that made me somewhat shifty, but this morning I had nothing, and wanted to skip those musics more than listening to them. And didn't sang then like I usually do either.
My main question is: Might it be possible that I << " Cured ">> my Therianthropy by removing the intruding spirit ? Does any of you have a similar experience in removing spirits or other impurity like that ? (If this post might be better in a witchcraft subreddit, I'm sorry but I don't know any...) (I know it's only one day and it's very unlikely that I figure it out in that short of a time, but I still want to ask anyway) (PS: I'm French, sorry for any weird sentences or grammatical errors)
Nobody knows for sure what causes therianthropy, but it's generally considered permanent.
I've never heard of a case like yours in modern times, so... who knows?
